Fluorapophyllite & Stilbite

Item Description

A dramatically sculptural and aesthetic combination from recent finds at Jalgaon. This beautifully balanced piece is highlighted by the intergrown, gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored, tetragonal fluorapophyllites across the top and the centrally placed corsage of pearly white stilbite blades at the base. The large apophyllite is 4.0 cm. You can barely tell that the stilbite on the upper left has a bruised edge, as does the top stilbite in the cluster. The piece displays beautifully without aid. An exceptional Jagaon combination.
