Fluorapophyllite on Stilbite (Cooper coll.)

Item Description

A gorgeous plate of sprays of radiating apophyllite crystals perched on porcelain-colored stilbite, with dramatic "flower" shaped clusters of the green apophyllite! This is an older piece, probably from one of the pockets of the early 2000s, with such characteristic radiating sprays of these unusually elongated crystals to 2cm (at first glance the crystals themselves look rectangular). As with all such specimens, there may be minor damage to some tips, but it is almost impossible to tell due to the perfect cleavage at the tips anyways. This specimen has a more impactful display view than most, of similar style, because of the orientation of the crystals around the edges. It comes with a custom lucite base for display.
