Fluorapophyllite on Stilbite

Two beautiful sprays of glassy, gemmy, bi-colored, tetragonal apophyllite crystals are aesthetically set on tan stilbite crystals on this impressive combination specimen from Ahmadnagar. The very glassy apophyllite crystals have rich mint-green bodies and limpid colorless terminations. The upper cluster is 5.8 cm and the lower spray is 6.5 cm across. This striking and excellent piece has been expertly prepared with the carved curved back and sawed base. The style and form of these apophyllite clusters is certainly one of the most desirable from any Maharashtra locale. This classic combination displays very artistically and is a sculptural work of art.
