Item Description

A fabulous 4.0 cm fan of beautiful gemmy and lustrous, mint-green, fluorapophyllite spikes dominates this adorable combination from the famous Pashan quarries at Pune. The fan dramatically rests on a thin basalt crust covered with complimentary glassy, pearlescent, bone-white to coloress stilbite crystals. The Pashan quarries, closed in the early 1990s due to population growth, are considered to have produced the very finest green apophyllites from any Maharashtra State locale. This is an exceptionally dramatic and excellent combination example. Pashan specimens are seldom on the market today.
