Item Description
A striking, faceted gem-like, 3.8 cm apophyllite crystal is very aesthetically set on the well-prepared vug covered with scintillating, tinted, drusy quartz. The super-sharp and glassy, colorless, tetragonal crystal has a striking modified pinacoidal termination with beautifully striated prism faces. The upper 1.7cm of the crystal is totally limpid, with the lower section being water-clear to translucent. This amazing crystal is nearly pristine. The very gentle edge bruising near the termination and the hard-to-tell cleaved base of crystal are noted, but certainly have little impact to the high quality of this very fine and showy combination from Nashik. Classic and desirable material. BETTER in person.
