Fluorapophyllite-(K) with Stilbite

Item Description

A classic group of very sharp, glassy, GEM / gemmy, colorless, tetragonal prisms of Apophyllite which are growing on a dark blue-grey colored stalactite of Chalcedony and associated with a "sword"-shaped crystal group of peach colored Stilbite (more specifically Stilbite-(Ca)) aesthetically flaring out of the lower portion of the piece. The largest Apophyllite measures 2.6 cm long, and the Stilbite measures 1.7 cm. Very little damage, and showy from every direction. Indian Zeolites (and associated species) may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant ! No real damage that I can see with the naked eye. Valued at $700.
