Gemmy Green Fluorapophyllite-(K) with Stilbite

Item Description

A classic, display specimen featuring sharp, prismatic sea-green Apophyllite crystals with bladed white "sheaves" of Stilbite on matrix. The largest Apophyllite crystal measures 2.5 cm long. One of the terminations is cleaved on the Apophyllite group, and there is a contact on the back (not visible when displayed). Indian Zeolites and associated minerals may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant.
