Fluorapophyllite-(K) on Chalcedony Stalactite

For about 50 years, we've seen incredible crystallized mineral specimens coming out of the Deccan Trap in India, which is truly one of the most prolific specimen-producing areas on Earth. The sheer quantity of top-notch display quality pieces to have been found is truly impressive, and most of the mineral found in the various quarries are the finest examples of their respective species ever found. This piece is a classic example of the famous Fluorapophyllite-(K) specimens from Pune featuring many razor-sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, colorless crystals measuring up to 2.1 cm, sitting on two thin stalactites of Chalcedony, with very minor associated bladed pale peach colored crystals of Stilbite-(Ca). No major damage I can find, only a few minor imperfections. Beautiful classic material, which should be appreciated for its superior quality.
