Fluorapophyllite-(K) (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

These specimens are some of the most distinctive Apophyllites from any locality. A hard-to-find specimen of Fluorapophyllite-(K) from Murdochville featuring sharp, well-formed, thick tabular crystals with a pearly luster and a silvery colored interior - with a white exterior - measuring up to 1.0 cm on matrix. The mine has been closed since 2002 (it opened in 1955) and specimens of this unique and attractive material are very rare on the market these days. . Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5470).
