Fluorapophyllite-(K) ex Jack Halpern Collection

Unusual, and very attractive, cluster of Fluorapophyllite-(K) from the famous Pune District in India. late 1980s or early 1990s era of style. Production from the Khadokvasia complex was limited, and the older Fluorapophyllites from here tended to be quite elongated, as these are up to 3 cm long. A lovely, mint-green color and translucent to gemmy, the crystals splay out in an appealing, bowtie-shaped cluster. Good aesthetics, and relative rarity, make this small cabinet piece a real find on the market. It is simply gorgeous, and very different from today's modern styles.
