Fluorapophyllite-(K) (ex Dave Bergman Collection)

I know that Indian zeolites and associated species (Apophyllite is not actually a zeolite) are everywhere, but you must appreciate them for what they are. They are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant. This piece is actually from a find from nearly 30 years ago. It features good sized, sharp, lustrous, light green color crystals of Fluorapophyllite-(K) measuring up to 2.3 cm with white Stilbite sheaves and pearly Heulandite on matrix. It's an aesthetic small cabinet size piece, and will probably end up being a great bargain for somebody. One day (eventually) India will not produce any more of these specimens, and they will more than likely receive great recognition for being the amazing display specimens that they are. Dave is a Colorado miner (formerly the foreman and primary person in charge of recovering specimens at the famous Sweet Home Mine near Alma, Colorado during the late 1970s) and the maternal grandfather of Brian Kosnar. The piece was given to Dave as a gift by his son-in-law, Rich Kosnar in April of 1992, and the hand-written label from Kosnar accompanies the piece.
