Item Description

Beautiful and striking sprays of glassy, gemmy, bi-colored, tetragonal apophyllite crystals are aesthetically scattered on cream-colored stilbite crystals on this impressive combination specimen from Ahmadnagar. The very glassy apophyllite crystals have rich mint-green bodies and limpid colorless terminations. The dominating central upper cluster is 3.7 cm across. This striking and excellent piece has been expertly prepared with the carved curved back and sawed base. The style and form of these apophyllite clusters is certainly one of the most desirable from any Maharashtra locale. This classic combination displays very artistically and is a sculptural work of art.
