Item Description

Indian Zeolites (and associated species like Apophyllite) may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant! Now it must be noted that Apophyllite is not a Zeolite species, but is often associated with the many Zeolites from India. This piece features excellent, sharp, very lustrous, translucent/gemmy, green, color crystals of Apophyllite forming a "flower"-like group associated with Stilbite blades on matrix. Nearly damage free on the display side (contacted on the back) and fine quality for the material. This is an older specimen and came out of the ground around 1990. Valued at $750.
