Item Description

Another very good and rare Brazilian Zeolite specimen from the Alvaro Lucio collection, REPRESENTING VERY OLD MATERIAL THAT AT ONE TIME WAS CONSIDERED AMONG BEST OF SPECIES. This is a Brazilian Fluorapophyllite, and a very fine one at that, with sharp, stout, medium mint green, translucent crystals to 2.0 cm. This material is vanishingly rare on the market since it was mined decades ago and very little good material like this was ever available! It is a small cabinet cluster composed of nearly a dozen robust crystals with a square cross-section and each of them has multiple terminations. No damage! It is very well composed piece that displays very nicely and is a killer for a Brazilian Fluorapophyllite!
