Item Description

An unusual apophyllite specimen with lots of sparkle, this piece shows apophyllite coating a ribbon of cream-colored stilbite beneath. It is hard to describe exactly, so please see the video - this looks different than most! The color is essentially colorless but there are subtle hints of pink and green pastel colors, and it is in the end a very beautiful specimen, with lots of sparkles off all the cubic apophyllite terminations. Unusual style compared to what we see today from Indian locations. Note, this was not on exhibit and has no exhibition label, as some others do here. However, it comes with a custom mounted base for this large, showy piece. This was donated by collector and board member,  Conan Barker for the auction.
