Fluorapophyllite

Emplaced on basalt along with minor white stilbite is a large, well formed, doubly-terminated bowtie of fluorapophyllite. It is NOT the commo style! this came out years and years ago, and we found it again only in our recent office move. The crystals exhibit a silky luster with good translucence along with a slightly limey, apple-green color that is just different than most others you see. The doubly-terminated fluorapophyllite crystals reach 9 cm across. Valued $2000-2500
