Item Description
While a very common species, nevertheless a fine fluorapophyllite of this quality has a place in a thumbnail collection such as Schauss, where he sought depth and breadth throughout. This is a complete floater, and looks like a sugar cube with glazed layer atop. It is so sharp, perfectly formed, and frankly looks machined. It is a lustrous translucent white (pseudo)cubic crystal that is actually quite unusual, and a fine representation of a common species in a TN suite of quality.
