Fluorapatite, Wolframite & Muscovite

Fluorapatite and wolframite combinations are a Panasqueira classic and this is a fine example. Glassy, gemmy, hexagonal, green fluorapatite crystals to 1.8 cm are aesthetically clustered at the base of striking, splendent, parallel-growth, wolframite monolith. Lustrous, translucent, amber muscovite books are a fine accent. The crest of the wolframite was contacted against the vug ceiling and the left side of the crystal is cleaved. This is an excellent combination example from this renowned locale with several fine display possibilities. Comes with a 1960s-70s Lidstrom's label. Yellow fluorapatite fluorescence.
