Item Description
Here we have a wonderful toenail sized specimen of gemmy pink Fluorapatite featuring a group of sharp, lustrous, hexagonal crystals that feature a small amount of moss-green colored "Chlorite" inclusions. For the most part, the piece is in good shape, but it's a little rough on the lower edges of the specimen. My favorite aspect of the piece is that all of the "c" faces shows distinct and eye-catching thin radial hexagonal growth pattern lines. A great piece for any fan of gem crystals or minerals from Pakistan. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#11948). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
