Fluorapatite with Arsenopyrite

Item Description

An older specimen from the 1960s-1970s era at Panasqueira featuring sharp, tabular, soft green color, translucent hexagonal crystals of Fluorapatite measuring up to 8 mm across, associated with scattered silvery, prismatic crystals of Arsenopyrite measuring up to 1.2 cm with golden-brown (partially iron-coated) crystals of Siderite on the matrix. No major damage that I can see, and good quality all around.

Rob has a background in applied geology in tropical and deeply weathered terrains, he also has done mining consulting in the fields of due diligence, financial and technical audits, process chemistry, environmental geochemistry, environmental engineering and mineralogy.
