Item Description

This specimen is one of the best thumbnails I can imagine having come out of the famous early 2000s pockets of Apatites at the Sapo Mine, previously known more for bluecap tourmalines and not apatite! It is exquisite. The photos speak for themselves. Please note that the backlighting in our photography studio can show the amazing olive green edges really nicely, but the video does not convey that color (which you would get with more strong backlighting). The video is meant to convey luster and shape. It is a boxbuster sized thumbnail, complete 360 degrees all around, and with no damage beyond the most trivial specks under a loupe. Superb and significant thumbnail specimen from a long-ago find that remains iconic to this day.
