Item Description

A few good sized, gemmy, sharp, hexagonal, blocky crystals of Fluorapatite up to 1.6 cm across are sitting on a bed of off-white color, lustrous, somewhat porous Albite crystals with prismatic black Schorl crystals on both sides of the piece. Strangely, the color of the Apatite crystals changes in different ligthing. Under halogens, the crystals have a pale pink hue, but under spiral mercury "energy saver" bulbs, the color is a pale blue-green shade. The piece displays very well and there is very little damage overall. A good small miniature sized Apatite from Pakistan.
