Item Description
A unique specimen composed of gemmy, thick, tabular, hexagonal intergrown Fluorapatite crystals, included with dark green needles of Actinolite. The luster is very good on the surface and the crystals are gemmy when backlit. The piece truly reminds me of classic Austrian Alpine specimens, except it might actually be BETTER due to the fact that the crystals are so thick. The prism faces are broad, smooth and very lustrous. It's a GOOD quality Apatite from this Alpine-typle locality in Pakistan. Valued at $900.
