Item Description

Classic and rich apatite from the renowned Panasqueira mines. Densely intergrown very glassy, gemmy/translucent grayish-green with white streaks, tabular, hexagonal prisms, to 1.4 cm, form a showy mounded small cabinet. The striated faces add pizzazz. The rich patches of siderite rhombs and a bit of black ferberite matrix on the back side are a typical and excellent accessories. Moderate yellow fluorescence. Ex Allen Dillwith Collection.
