Item Description

An excellent apatite and muscovite combination from the 1989 find at the Ze Pinto Prospect of Brazil. A striking pair of interpenetrating, sharp, lustrous, partially translucent, hexagonal, mottled olive-green fluorapatite crystals are very attractively accented with highly lustrous, pearlescent, interlocking muscovite books. The large apatite is 4.7 cm long and is doubly terminated. Choice material from the Matioli Collection.
