This impressive large piece features numerous gemmy and lustrous, yellow-green, fluorapatite crystals embedded in the heavily brecciated hematite matrix. Most of the crystals are crystal sections, EXCEPT for the striking, dominating, sharply terminated, stout, 3.0 cm crystal. A nifty bonus is the patches of fluorescent, light yellow-green, hyalite opal on the back of the piece. Showy, highly representative large combination material from the Cynthia Payne Collection.
