Item Description
A RARE and highly unusual Pakistan apatite specimen of stacked plates of radially formed tapered circular crystals. The broken ends of the translucent crystals show the structure well and are a very pearlescent light yellowish-gray color. There are some small associated patches of green chlorite on the sides. Purple fluorescence! A rare example from the Kay Robertson Collection # 12937. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
