Fluorapatite, Smoky Quartz & Cleavelandite (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

Pretty lavender, juicy, gemmy, hexagonal fluorapatite crystals, to 9 mm, aesthetically frame and are included in the sculptural stacked pair of glassy quartz crystals. The cloaking, glassy cleavelandite blades on the sides and top and the seam of purple lepidolites on the right side are super accents. The display face is pristine and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a minimal detraction to this impressive and excellent large combination. Moderate yellow fluorescence. Choice older material from this famous pegmatite from the Bob Trimingham Collection and acquired in 1995.
