Item Description
Fluorapatite from Slyudyanka is a classic and desirable mineral species. This is a RARE sharp, terminated REVERSE SCEPTER with textbook hexagonal form. Beautiful teal-green color and striking horizonal layering highlight this glassy, gemmy/translucent crystal. Complete all-around pristine. Contacting on the back of the terminations has no damage, per se. RARE and choice material from the Dr. Ed David Collection. His distinctive collection number is clearly visible on the back of the crystal. Ed was Science Advisor to President Nixon and assembled several world-class collections. Ed passed away in February, 2017.
