Item Description

A really hard to find specimen from the famous Vanderberg Mine in San Diego County featuring attractive, prismatic, striated, soft blue colored hexagonal crystals of Fluorapatite on Quartz and feldspar matrix. The Apatite crystals measure about 1-2 mm, but they look beautiful up close. If you're a collector of worldwide Apatites or minerals of San Diego County, do not miss out on this incredibly hard to find piece from this historic locality. Apatites are not commonly seen from San Diego County, especially BLUE crystals like this!
