Item Description
A sculptural, aesthetic and unusual fluorapatite combination from this famed mine. Densely intergrown, 3-dimensional, tabular hexagonal fluorapatite crystals are glassy, gemmy/translucent and have classic grayish-green color. Most unusually, the attached ferberite blades are preferentialy coated with scintillating brassy pyrite cubes. Many of the cubes have been strangely skeletonized, upon close observation. The apatites reach 1.9 cm and this very fine combination is pristine in the frontal view. Choice, excellent and uncommon combination material from the Dave Bristol Collection.
