Fluorapatite on orange Calcite ex. Webb Coll

Item Description

Crystals of glassy and translucent blue apatites to 3.5 cm in length are partially encased in a beautiful orange calcite matrix, which contrasts splendidly with the fluorapatite. A few of the crystals are also doubly terminated. One or two crystals are contacted but the color and texture contrasts overcome this damage and it is nevertheless a pretty nice specimen for display.. Classic, older material.
