The famous locality at Chumar Bakhoor is best known for its supreme Aquamarine specimens along with beautiful Fluorite crystals, but the superb pink Apatites from this locality do not get enough credit for the beautiful color and excellent crystal quality. This full cabinet sized display specimen hosts several excellent, sharp, well-formed, smooth, lustrous, rich pink color, hexagonal, complete crystals of Flourapatite sitting among fine quality bladed silvery Muscovite matrix. The piece displays nicely as you can see from the photos and there is virtually no damage. A classic pink Apatite from this well-known locality in Pakistan. Hard to photograph and better in person. For reference, this piece came from Herb Obodda's dealer stock, and was originally valued at $4,500 several years ago!
