Item Description

A lovely miniature sized specimen of this classic material from the famous pocket in 2003 featuring deep green colored, rather lustrous, thick tabular hexagonal crytals of Fluorapatite measuring up to 1.6 cm across, sitting beautifully on white Albite matrix. When backlit, you can see the crystals have a slight colorless zone on the far exterior edges. If you collect Apatites, phosphate or Brazilian minerals. these are a must-have, since they truly do not resemble any other Apatites that I can think of from anywhere else. It appears that Sapo may never produce these attractive specimens of unusual Apatite again, so don't miss out. From the collection of Michel Jactat.
