A very fine and aesthetic combination plate from the famous locale and the Art Soregaroli Collection. Gemmy, sharp, tabular, color-zoned, grayish-green apatite crystals surround a sharply terminated, water-clear, 1.8 cm quartz crystal. The impressive large apatite is 2.2 cm across. The matrix is festooned with pearlescent muscovite plates and richly peppered with tiny brassy pyrites. The piece is nearly pristine, with only one spot of edge wear to the secondary apatite. A classic and excellent combination with 360-degree viewability. Straw-yellow apatite fluorescence.
