Aesthetic, high quality matrix fluorapatite combination specimens are RARE from the famed Himalaya Mine. An impressive 4.7 cm, terminated, bi-colored, lustrous, translucent, hexagonal crystal is strikingly set on the edge of the blocky bladed lepidolite matrix. Two smaller nearby terminated apatites, a dominating 2.8 cm lepidolite "book" atop the piece and quartz crystal sections are outstanding accessories to this very fine matrix rarity. Rich yellow apatite fluorescence. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum.
