Item Description
Here we have a really cool specimen of soft green colored Apatites from the famous Sapo mine from a few years ago. These crystals have a unique appearance with compressed prismatic form, but still showing very sharp, highly lustrous faces with nice translucency. Interestingly enough, the piece has hollow cavity near the base. The crystals have a semi-stalactitic form. Good quality all aroud, and really unusual for the species. HARD TO PHOTOGRAPH, best seen in person. If you collect Apatites, phosphates or Brazilian minerals. Don't miss out on this interesting and eye-catching Apatite that truly doesn't look like an Apiate I've seen from any other locality. It appears that Sapo may never produce these attractive specimens of unusual Apatite again.
