Fluorapatite (fluorescent) & Muscovite on Albite (Wes Parker Coll.)

Item Description

Two, very glassy, gemmy, near colorless to light brown fluorapatite crystals are aesthetically set atop a field of sparkly muscovite plates and rest against massive feldspar matrix on this aesthetic combination from Shengus. The textbook, hexagonal apatites reach to 3.0 cm. The left edge of the large crystal is contacted, but there is no damage, per se. Nifty ghostly white and yellow fluorescence! Excellent combination material from the Wes Parker Collection.
