Very pretty, gemmy/translucent, rich cornflower-blue hexagonal apatite crystals with contrasting glassy yellow lepidolites on the stark quartz plate matrix form a super-cute and aesthetic thumbnail combination from the famous Pederneira Mine. Yellow apatite fluorescence. Adorable older combination material from the Kay Robertson Collection # 12230. She purchased this piece from Brazilian dealer Luis Menezes at the Denver Show in 1990. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). A choice Pederneira apatite combination.
