Fluorapatite ex Obodda

Item Description

A fine and showy thumbnail cluster of violet and purple fluorapatite crystals from Afghanistan. The crystals have excellent luster and translucency and the 1.9 cm crystal is textbook hexagonal. The cluster is complete-all-around, with the no-damage contacting on the back being out-of-sight. A fine example of this uncommon, intense color, highlighted by the backlit photos. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by Herb at $300, five or more years ago.
