Item Description
Classic, sharp, lustrous, GEMMY, euhedral, prismatic crystals of Apatite on matrix with the well known greenish yellow color from Cerro de Mercado. These crystals are not nearly as common on the market as they were about 20 years ago, and are certainly some of the most distinctive crystals of Apatite from any locality in the world. The largest crystal on this piece measures 2.1 cm, and they all have great form and color. This piece would make a nice to a small gem crystal suite, a collection of Mexican minerals, or a suite of Apatites. Despite a little bit of roughness, this is a pretty good quality specimen of this renowned Mexican material.
