Item Description
A beautiful example of the classic Fluorapatites from the King Lithia Mine near Keystone, South Dakota. A few sharp, lustrous, very well-formed, sparkling ,purple to lilac colored, hexagonal Apatites measuring up to 3 mm sit on the underlying matrix. Good quality all around and very attractive up close. These Apatites are very hard to find on the market, and certainly worth adding to any collection of US minerals, phosphates or worldwide Apatites.
