Item Description

Gemmy, yellow-green fluorapatite crystals from Cerro de Mercado are a classic Mexico species and this is a very fine matrix example. A sharply terminated, glassy, 3.6 cm crystal is aesthetically set on the side of quartz matrix. Very nearly pristine, with only the most trivial of termination bruising. This noted locale is featured in the current Mexico-VI issue of the Mineralogical Record. Excellent timing for a beautiful and aesthetic specimen. From the noted Mexico collection of Jason New. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
