Item Description

An aesthetic miniature cluster of classic, gray-green, gemmy and lustrous, hexagonal fluorapatite crystals from Panasqueira. The large doubly terminated crystal is 2.2 cm and tiny siderite disks nicely frame the apatites. The bit of noted modest edge wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this showy and highly representative example from this famous locale. Interestingly, only the slightly gemmier termination areas fluoresce ghostly white under SW and LW UV light. From an East Coast collection.
