Fluorapatite (''Cinderella's Glass Slipper'')

Sometimes in the mineral world, people will look at a specimen and see something else, e.g. animals, plants or other objects. I'm sure some of you have heard of pieces nicknamed "The Dragon", "The Snail" and "The Polar Bear", but have any of you seen a piece quite like this? We've nicknamed this piece "Cinderella's Glass Slipper", as it clearly resembles a high-heeled shoe as you can see from the photo/video. The piece is composed of soft greenish colored, hexagonal translucent crystals of Fluorapatite, free of matrix, and it's nearly a complete "floater", as it's crystallized on all sides. What's more, the faces of the crystals are notably lustrous, and reflect light in the same way you would expect a glass slipper might. The unique and fortuitous growth of the Apatite crystals is 100% natural, and the piece has not been shaped, polished or manipulated in any way. A complete one-of-a-kind specimen from the famed Sapo Mine, which has produced some of the more unique Fluorapatite specimens of any locality in Brazil.
