Item Description
The striking steep offset chisel termination highlights this textbook, hexagonal miniature apatite from this famous Mexico iron mine. The very glassy, gemmy to translucent with satin lustre faces prism has the classic yellow-green color of Cerro de Mercado apatites. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine. Trival termination wilbers are barely noticeable. The crystal glows, when back lit. A showy, stout, highly representative miniature with an unusual steep termination from this well-known locale. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection.
