Item Description
A sharp, gemmy and translucent, glassy Apatite crystal, along with Aquamarine, nestled snugly in bladed Muscovite. This is a classic assemblage specimen from Chumar Bakhoor. The larger of the Apatites is a full 3 cm across and is actually a composite of two intergrown crystals, it seems. The Apatite is gemmier than usual and the Muscovite more individualized than usual...altogether a very fine small cabinet specimen. This is from a small find of around 2006-2007, as I recall, and I have only seen a few. Interestingly, as a bonus, the Apatite fluoresces a striking yellow color under UV. An excellent combination piece with fine aesthetics. Valued $1500
