Item Description
From the famous Slyudyanka locality near Zlake Baikal, this impressive, well-terminated, single crystal crystal has beautiful teal-blue color, incredibly high luster, and a striking mottled interior. Fluorapatites from storied Slyudyanka are considered highly desirable classics, and specimens as large as this 9.8 cm crystal are simply uncommon. Formerly in the Fersman Mineralogical Museum, Moscow collection (purchased by Chet Lemanski from them in the past). It is large, sharp, well formed, and really really blue! 297 grams
