Item Description

Here we have a really cool miniature specimen of colorless to green colored Apatites from the famous Sapo mine from a few years ago. These crystals have a unique appearance with compressed form, but still showing very sharp, lustrous faces with nice translucency. Interestingly enough, the piece has a hollow cavity at the base. It's crystallized nearly all the way around making it a near "floater" specimen, but I don't see any damage on the display side. HARD TO PHOTOGRAPH, best seen in person. If you collect Apatites, phosphate or Brazilian minerals. don't miss out on this interesting and eye-catching Apatite that truly doesn't look like an Apiate I've seen from any other locality. It appears that Sapo may never produce these attractive specimens of unusual Apatite again.
