These are some of the most intense blue Apatites from any world locality. This particular piece is a very well-formed, doubly-terminated, sharp, prismatic hexagonal crystal group with strong blue color and above average gemminess when strongly backlit. Only slight damage, but nothing really notable. The best part is that the piece doesn't have strongly evident surface crazing like many from this locality. If you collect Apatites, you need to have one of these in your collection.
